Thank you for your interest in the Watsonville Police Department and the public safety issues of our community. Our community has changed a great deal in the last twenty years... hasn't everything! Law enforcement has changed also. I'm proud to say that the Watsonville Police Department is changing to meet the needs of a fast growing community.

Leadership, Partnership, and Quality Service is our motto. Community policing is our philosophy. We drive, we walk, and we ride bikes. We've implemented technology to bring information to our officers more quickly, which helps them solve problems important to you and your neighborhood. We want to solve problems for the long term, not just respond to the repeat calls.

We realize we can't do it alone. We are part of a government team and are partnered with many community based organizations and businesses.

We invest in our employees and provide a great deal of training so that you receive not only the right person for the job, but someone who can sincerely help you with your concerns.
